Visit Rolla
A multi-page destination experience designed to turn curiosity into exploration, trip planning, and a complete Rolla visitor journey.

Project Snapshot
Turning an entire destination into a clear digital journey.
Visit Rolla needed to serve travelers with very different reasons for visiting—from food and lodging to Route 66 history, events, shopping, outdoor activities, and venue planning.
The challenge was to organize a broad collection of destinations, businesses, events, and visitor resources without making the experience feel like a crowded directory. Visitors needed clear starting points, recognizable navigation, and simple pathways from inspiration to practical trip planning.
The website was designed as a connected destination system built around how visitors explore a city. Consistent navigation and page architecture keep the experience familiar, while each major visitor interest is given its own visual identity and content structure.
Discovery pages introduce experiences by interest, dining and lodging pages use repeatable directory patterns for quick comparison, Route 66 content combines history with visual storytelling, events are organized around practical calendar-based planning, and local shopping and venue pages extend the experience beyond traditional leisure travel.
Across the system, imagery, destination-focused messaging, and clear browsing patterns help visitors move naturally from discovery to planning and participation.
The Approach
The Outcome
The finished experience gives Visit Rolla a cohesive digital guide for seeing, tasting, staying, shopping, planning, and experiencing the city.
Rather than presenting tourism information as disconnected listings, the site connects multiple visitor needs through a consistent design system and recognizable journey. Individual destinations and categories retain their own character while still feeling like part of one Visit Rolla experience across desktop and mobile.
